The purpose of this page is to provide the service framework.

Terms and Conditions:
-
Before you buy a course of counselling / psychotherapy sessions, you may prefer to buy a single session, to act as a 'taster'. This could be your opportunity to see if you think I will be the right Counsellor / Psychotherapist for you. Once the first session has been completed, you may then choose to book more sessions - or not.
-
Please notify me with a minimum of 24 hours notice if a counselling / psychotherapy session cannot be attended, as a matter of courtesy.
-
If a counselling / psychotherapy or Clinical Supervision session is missed, it will not be added back to the end of the programme - it will be lost, so as not to disrupt the planned end date for the course of sessions.
-
Payment will usually be made by Paypal. Payments by cash or cheque can be arranged if preferred.
-
Sessions will last for 50 minutes each.
-
If you are late for a session, your session will run for whatever time remains of the 50 minutes that have been scheduled.
-
If you are to meet for a session in person, please ensure that you have provided prior notification of any special requirements; such as disabled access requirements - in order that arrangements can be made to accommodate you comfortably and safely.
Refunds:
-
If I have to cancel a counselling / psychotherapy or Clinical Supervision session, you will be offered a full refund for the number of sessions that I miss (although it is not anticipated that I will miss a session).
-
If you have paid in advance for your counselling / psychotherapy session, but you give me at least 24 hours notice to cancel an individual counselling / psychotherapy session, your session will be refunded.
-
Clinical Supervision sessions that are missed will not be refunded under any circumstance.
-
If you miss a counselling / psychotherapy session and do not provide a minimum of 24 hours notice, then the fee for the missed session will not be refunded or cancelled. The full charge will apply.
-
If you decide to cancel a course of counselling / psychotherapy or Clinical Supervision sessions, once they have commenced; you will not be entitled to a refund for any scheduled sessions not yet delivered.
-
If you drop out of your counselling / psychotherapy or Clinical Supervision course without notice, you will not be entitled to a refund of any sessions you have paid for in advance.
Health & Safety:
-
To ensure that your needs are best accommodated, please ensure that you have advised me of any health or safety related issues or requirements, in order that appropriate facilities may be provided.
-
If you are attending a session in person, you will be told about emergency exits and safety within the premises. If you do not feel adequately informed at the time, please do not hesitate to ask.
-
Whilst I will provide counselling to you with no other person present in the room, there will always be at least one other person in the premises to ensure safety.
-
Any act of aggression or violence will not be tolerated and will result in the termination of your counselling sessions, without refund.
