Why Choose Therapy?

There are many reasons why people choose the support of a therapist.

For some, the support of a trained therapist brings confidence and understanding from the support of someone with specialist skills, for others it can simply be a need to work through a private difficulty with somebody that is objective and not personally involved.

I have several years of experience counselling individuals, couples, families and groups on issues which include the following:

  • Drug and Alcohol Addiction
  • Life Management
  • Debt
  • Difficulty Coping
  • Victims of Crime
  • Rape and Male-Rape
  • Hate Crimes
  • Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
  • Criminal Justice System
  • Combined Addiction and Serious Mental Health Issues; Dual Diagnosis
  • Terminal Illness
  • Anger Management
  • Blood Borne Viruses
  • Gambling
  • Sex Addiction
  • Loss and Bereavement.
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
  • Trust
  • Anxiety
  • Panic Attacks
  • Depression
  • The Past, Present and Future
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Gender Dysphoria
  • Eating Disorders
  • Weight Problems
  • Problems at Work
  • Relationship Difficulties
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Low Self-Confidence
